    Dear all,
i’m using lead dbs, everything works well and now I’m interesting to calculate the VTA. I need to know the default algorithm SimBio/Fieldtrip consider the anisotropy and the inhomogeneity of the surrounding tissues to the nuclei when compute the electic field.
Can someone give me some explanation about this?
    Thank you for your collaboration.
    Regards,
    Michael

The VTA algorithm is well described here:

    Dear Andy,
thanks for the quick replay. Just one more question. Is it possible to have a simulation in the native space?
    Best, Michael
